Minimalistic Travel Blog

Here is a multi-language, minimalistic in both design and codebase, dynamic (asynchronous) blog. It was a personal project that I made when travelled to China, the first Asian country in my life, in 2010. I didn’t know much of what to expect except the facts that Facebook and Google services were either blocked or barely accessible, so it inspired my idea of creating a personal travel blog.

The website was based mostly on JavaScript and used the asynchronous data exchange (AJAX), which was pretty innovative back then. It is also the very first project that I made for big (not cellphone or smartphone) screens.
